DiBonaventura has a ‘Secret’

Lorenzo di Bonaventura and his Di Bonaventura Pictures will produce Michael Scott’s six-part fantasy series “The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel.”

According to Variety, Michael Scott and Barry Krost will executive produce.

The series follows fifteen-year-old twins Sophie and Josh as they trek across several continents with the wizard of the title, Nicholas Flamel.

“The Alchemyst,” “The Magician” and “The Sorceress” are the first three of Scott’s books in the series published by Delacorte Press Books. The books are available in 37 countries and 20 languages. The fourth book, “The Necromancer,” will be published in May.

Flamel was a real-life French alchemist who was born in 1330 and has developed a cult-like following over the years. His character was in J.K. Rowling’s first Harry Potter book “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” and the film adaptation as well. Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
