Dennis Rodman arrested for domestic battery

Dennis Rodman, who Lakers’ coach Phil Jackson once referred to as “the poster child for ADD,” has been caught hitting a woman.

The tattooed and pierced basketballer was arrested Wednesday night at a Los Angeles hotel for domestic battery, LAPD officials confirm.

The AP reports that Rodman, 46, was arrested after police arrived on the scene shortly after 10:15 p.m., responding to a domestic dispute.

“Officers learned [Rodman] hit a woman and that she had suffered injuries to her arms,” a police statement read.

Rodman, an ex NBA star once married to Carmen Electra, posted his $50,000 bail and was released five hours later.

His court date is set for May 22.
