Dave Stewart’s Piano Fetches Nearly $7000 at Auction

Eurythmics star Dave Stewart has auctioned a piano he has owned for over 20 years for more than $6,700.

The piano has been played by the likes of Bob Dylan and Sir Paul McCartney as well as being used on tracks by Joss Stone and Gwen Stefani.

Stewart had kept the instrument at his Church Studios in London since the early 1980’s but more recently moved it to his home. With the music mogul moving to the US he decided it was time to part company with the Bechstein Grand Piano.

Bonham’s of London auctioned it on Monday.
