Like a scene out of Katy Perry’s odd and colorful “Dark Horse” video, John Mayer has been reduced to ashes and blown away.
Apparently those engagement rumors were wrong on every count as Katy Perry and John Mayer have parted ways, E! News reports.
The “Dark Horse” singer reportedly ended things with Mayer within the past few days, a source told E! News.
The couple have gone back and forth in their relationship, on again, off-again, reconciling last year. They recorded a duet, “Who You Love,” on Mayer’s most recent album Paradise Valley.
Russell Brand texted a divorce request to Kary Petty in 2011. After 14 months of marriage, Russell Brand filed for divorce with papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Brand, 36, cited “irreconcilable differences.” No other specifics were provided in the documents, though Brand is asking that each party pay their own attorney fees and that their property rights be determined.
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage,” Brand told Us Weekly in a statement. “I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
Brand’s filing came after a reported huge fight with Perry, 27, over the Christmas holiday, primarily on where they should spend the holiday.
