Cy Coleman Passes Away

Cy Coleman, the Tony winning Broadway composer died on November 18th at the age of 75 of a heart attack. His Broadway credits include Little Me, On the Twentieth Century, City of Angels, Barnum, The Will Rogers Follies, I Love My Wife, The Life, and Sweet Charity. A revival of Sweet Charity is set for Broadway in the spring of 2005.

Marquee Lights on Broadway were dimmed last night for one one minute in his honor.

Coleman attended the premiere of Democracy on the 18th where he felt ill at the party afterward. He and his wife, Shelby, went to the hospital where he collapsed and died.
