Country music singer/songwriter Hank Williams Jr. is in the process of divorcing his fourth wife, Mary Jane, after 16 years of marriage.
The singer issued a statement to The Associated Press, via his publicist Kirt Webster, saying: “Today is one of the toughest days in my life. All families experience difficulties; I hope everyone will respect our privacy during this time.”
Williams, 57, has two teenage children with Mary Jane, and three children from his other marriages. Before she married the singer, Mary Jane was a model. The couple met at a concert in 1985 and the two were married in July of 1990.
Williams is the son of country music icon Hank Williams and has become a legend in the music industry. His hits include “Family Tradition” and “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight” – which went on to become the theme song for “Monday Night Football.”Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
