Coachella 2014 fever is hitting already. Coachella 2014 will take place back-to-back weekends on April 11 and April 18 in Indio, Calif.

Goldenvoice announced Arcade Fire and Outkast are confirmed for the 2014 Coachella Music and Arts Festival. British band Muse will complete the headliners.

Outkast, the name of popular rap duo Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000) and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton, are the wild card as Benjamin and Patton have not recorded or toured together much in recent years, with solo projects and Benjamin focusing on an acting career. The Outkast reunion had been rumored for months and this year marks the 20th anniversary of their awesome debut album. Let’s look back:

Okay so on top of all that delicious news, Bryan Ferry and Lorde, the antithesis of Miley and Britney, my favorite new pop songstress, will be there too! Other notable reunions include the Replacements, Neutral Milk Hotel, with new acts Haim and Disclosure too.

Let’s just revel in the fact that Bryan Ferry, the slick man of action in the 1980s, always in a suit and dripping in suave melodic sexy vocals is going to be at the same event as Lemmy from Motorhead. Lemmy is to Bryan Ferry as Pamela Anderson is to Scarlett Johansson.

If you go to Coachella, you will get your Skrillex on.  Also appearing are  Queens of the Stone Age, Beck, Skrillex, the Knife, Ellie Goulding, Broken Bells, Lana Del Rey, Motorhead, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Foster the People and Nas.

Along with the acts, Coachella always has a wide variety of vendors and sponsored tents and parties to check out too. Interestingly, back in 1999, only 25,000 people attended the event.  One day passes cost 50 bucks.  And back in 2008, Pink Floyd former bassist and co lead vocalist Roger Waters lost his inflatable pig during the concert.

One of the more unusual “regulars” to the concert is Danny DeVito, who M&C spied in 2010 and photographed.
