More reasons we love Kelly Clarkson!
Kelly Clarkson, the Music Heals honoree at the Musicians On Call 15th Anniversary Celebration in NYC on Nov. 18, surprised a group of children, parents and caregivers at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville on Friday, December 12th.
Kelly put on an intimate 8-song holiday concert for children and families in the theatre at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt theater. After mingling with families in the theatre, she then spent the whole afternoon going room to room, visiting and playing for kids who were not able to come down for the concert. She spent a total of 6+ hours at the hospital. Musicians On Call brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in hospitals. Kelly is one of the charity’s biggest supporters and was the “Music Heals” honoree at the Musicians On Call 15th Anniversary Celebration in NYC on Nov. 18.
