Charges against actress Rosario Dawson have been dropped by Prosecutors today in New York.
Dawson was arrested last August while filming a protest scene for independent movie “This Revolution,” using a real march by thousands of anti-Bush protestors near Madison Square Garden.
Both the actress, co-star Vija Grosgalves and director Stephen Marshal were arrested and faced charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction of governmental administration.
They could have faced up to a year in prison, but all charges have now been dropped.
Police had said the two were blocking the road and violating municipal law by disguising their features. Videotape evidence of the event was said to show they did neither and complied with the police officers requests at all times.
