Calista Flockhart talks about Harrison, ‘Peace’ and Thanksgiving

Calista Flockhart stepped out for ‘Peace Over Violence.’

Actress Calista Flockhart hosted Peace Over Violence’s 37th Annual Humanitarian Awards over the weekend.

The organization is dedicated to the elimination of sexual and domestic violence and all forms of interpersonal violence.

Flockhart spoke candidly about life with longtime love Harrison Ford and about last week’s historic presidential election. Also on hand for the event, Bo Derek opens up about her relationship with Sex and the City star John Corbett and whether the couple plans to tie the knot to Extra.

As for her upcoming Thanksgiving plans, Flockhart says she and Ford will “take turns” cooking.  And who’s the better cook? She responds, “I’m mediocre. I think Harrison’s a pretty good cook. We do well together.

When Extra asked about her reaction to last Tuesday’s presidential election she declares, “It was an amazing, amazing night.”

Also on hand supporting Peace Over Violence, Bo Derek tells “Extra” that she and boyfriend John Corbett don’t have any immediate plans to get married. “Who knows. There are no children involved, so that changes everything,” she says.

As for the Sex and the City: The Movie, Derek says, “He [Corbett] hasn’t seen it. I just saw it on the plane…I loved it. Saddest thing I’ve ever seen…Some things were so touching, so real to me.”

Revealing her ultimate beauty secret, the screen icon says, “It’s genetics, more than anything. I keep busy and I look like my sisters and my mom and my dad.”
