Calabasas drama unfolds, Paris Jackson attempted suicide reported

Calabasas, CA. – The daughter of the late pop star Michael Jackson, Paris Jackson, reportedly was rushed to hospital after a possible suicide attempt.

Jackson’s 15-year-old daughter Paris was hospitalized early Wednesday morning following an attempt at suicide.

Debbie Rowe, Paris’ mother who has rekindled her relationship with the teenager, also confirmed to ET that her daughter tried to commit suicide, adding that the teen has had “a lot going on [lately].”

ET also reported that Paris’ attempted suicide was over her being denied to attend a Marilyn Manson concert with Alice Cooper on June 6.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department told reporters that fire personnel responded to a home in Calabasas for a medical rescue on Wednesday.

“We received a call at 1:27 in the morning. We transported a patient to the hospital at 1:47,” a fire department spokesperson told FOX reporters. “We responded to a call of an overdose. That’s the kind of call we got.”

TMZ had reported that the 911 caller stated that Paris slashed her wrists.

Twitter was where the teenager revealed something was not quite right:  “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”

Rowe’s lawyer, Eric George, told FOX411: “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family’s privacy.”
