Britney Spears, six months pregnant and now a brunette, has posed nude for the cover of the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine with an accompanying photo spread inside, harkening back the famous 1991 Vanity Fair cover of a naked, and preggers Demi Moore.
According to Harper’s, the pop singer Spears “was never more beautiful” than when it photographed her a week ago and “that it was the first time it had printed a nude photo on its cover.”
The magazine added, “Since word leaked out about the shoot on Monday, people have been desperate to get their hands on the exclusive photos which were posted on various Web sites without permission from the magazine.”
Spears has done television interviews asking for some room from paparazzi. She frequently was the recipient of media and public criticism for driving with her baby Sean on her lap, who was also slumped over awkwardly in a car seat without any sun protection in a convertible while fleeing a photographer.

Kevin Federline was not part of the photo spread, and has recently taken up the cause of “Saving the penny” as part of a new campaign by Virgin Mobile to introduce their one-cent text messages. The “Save the Penny” campaign is set to make sure the coin isn’t phased out of existence.
