Brad Pitt hit the red carpet last night at the New Orleans premiere of his new film, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
Pitt addressed the recent incident in which a security guard assigned to protect him pushed and grabbed the actor from behind at one of his movie screenings.
“Do we need to clear the air? I don’t know what it looked like…I’m not sure what he was doing. He wasn’t trying to keep the guys out that shouldn’t have been there.”
Pitt admitted to Extra that seeing his character age backwards in the film wasn’t disturbing. “It’s actually kind of comforting to see that. No surprises,” he said.
Sporting a mustache, Pitt shared that he’s trying to bring the mustache back in style laughing, “That’s my goal. I don’t think ‘staches are respected enough. It’s political. It’s a political statement.”
Angelina Jolie was also on hand to support her man and said, “I’m very, very proud.” When asked if she and the kids had a nice Thanksgiving, she responded, “Yeah, we did. Wonderful. We all did chip in.”
Even Pitt helped with the cooking?
“It wasn’t me but we ate like kings,” Pitt revealed.
Since filming “Benjamin Button” in New Orleans, Jolie and Pitt has fallen in love with the city and made it a second home, purchasing a French Quarter house. They have devoted much time to the “Make It Right Foundation” which helps the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
“Extra’s” interview with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie airs tonight.
