HONEYMOON IN VEGAS? Already the alpha pair of Denver\'s werewolf pack, Kitty and Ben now plan to tie the knot human-style by eloping to Vegas. Elsewhere on the Strip an old-school magician might be wielding the real thing; the vampire community ...more
Already mated and alphas in the eyes of their werewolf pack, Kitty was determined to officially tie the knot with Ben in a human ceremony. Overwhelmed by the mounting details and well meaning meddling of her mom, Kitty came up the idea of a Vegas wedding. As host of the popular talk show Kitty and the Midnight Hour and a glutton for punishment, Kitty agrees to her boss’s suggestion of doing a live radio show on her honeymoon.
Complications immediately arise when Kitty and company realize they are sharing the hotel with bounty hunters, she runs afoul of the local vampire population and meets with vaudeville magician Odysseus Grant who is considerably more then he appears. Kitty must forge some unusual alliances when she uncovers the awful truth behind a popular animal act and crosses Tiamat, the ancient goddess of chaos.
Another smashing addition to her popular Kitty Norville series, Vaughn has started blending in elements of early mythologies setting the stage for the upcoming Kitty Raises Hell in what promises to be a rock’em, sock’em showdown. Fast paced and inventive, this expands upon the alpha pair’s relationship to each other and Kitty’s parents adding a humanizing touch to this outstanding paranormal series.
