Set in a future universe, the Armouron are an elite group of warriors which include five young knights in training. They are hidden away in a gladiatorial school run by the Corporation which rules most of the universe. Armouron are the natural opponents of the Corporation, challenging it ethics and ideas.
During a training session, Snow suddenly hears voices which no one else can hear. She tracks down the voice to a space ship only to find herself trapped in a cargo pod on her way to Kasteesh, a planet far away on the edge of the galaxy. Her friends steal a ship to try and rescue her.
Meanwhile, Snow has encountered alien dragon like flying creatures and finds she can communicate with them telepathically. Can she enter the sinister research base and rescue an imprisoned creature? What has her father got to do with all this? Will she ever find him?
This is a story which will encourage children to read books. The pace is fast and the words are accompanied by some great black and white illustrations. It is a good, well plotted story which will appeal to children who enjoy Star Wars and other dramatic sci-fi adventures.
