This book is rightly described as the 'ultimate dragon painting workshop'. It covers absolutely everything you ever wanted to know about painting dragons. No matter whether your inclination is towards humorous dragons, fierce dragons, eastern or western dragons; the answers will be found in this book.
Bob Eggleton is an expert in the subject - and it shows. There are clear step by step instructions on techniques such as different types of paints, finding references, shading, creating definition.
The section on how to draw humorous dragons is particularly good as this is a subject not often covered in many dragon books. Eggleton shows how to create a dragon which makes you smile as it has a hint of fun about it.
Full page illustrations show clearly the development of the dragon, making it easy for an artist to follow each step. Eggleton even states exactly which colors and shades of paint he has used. This is a really good book which will be a permanent part of any fantasy artist's library.
