New York Times bestselling author Karen Rose delivers another pulse-pounding suspense novel that ties into SCREAM FOR ME. Five teenage girls have been murdered. One survived, and only she can reveal the secrets of a disturbing ring of people who kidnap and sell teenage girls on the black market. But those responsible for the crimes will do whatever it takes to maintain her silence.Susannah Vartanian and Luke Papadopoulos have ...more
Karen Rose's books only get better each time. She is brilliant at creating complex, spellbinding, irresistible books which are compulsive reading. Kill for Me is the sequel to her earlier book Scream for Me and tells the story of Susannah Vartanian.
Viciously raped by a gang of youths as a teenager, she is reluctant to allow anyone to get close to her. Then she meets up with Luke Papadopoulos, a detective working on sex crimes against children.
His latest case is a horrific one - trying to find the people who murdered teenage girls they had earlier kidnapped and sexually attacked before sending them overseas to work in the sex industry. Only one girl has managed to survive a bloodbath - despite her trauma, Monica is determined to try and save the other teenagers.
Soon it becomes clear that the stories of Susannah and Monica are linked across time and that those early crimes have escalated. Can Susannah come to terms with what has happened? Can the links be found in time before more teenagers are lost?
The tension is palpable, you just have to continue reading to find out what happens next to these very believable characters.
