Major crimes are inevitably caused by one of the seven deadly sins. This collection of short stories selects just two of those sins - lust and greed. None of the stories have been published before.
In total there are 24 stories of varying lengths. All of the writers have taken a different look at what constitutes lust and greed and where submitting to them can lead a person into crime. Particularly good are the stories by Marcia Muller, Nancy Pickard and Carolyn Hart.
Dark Chocolate by Nancy Pickard is a fascinating story about greed for food, but it does leave you at the end wondering whether the story has completely ended or if there is something that has not yet been said given the continued references to the empty house where children once played.
