By Angela Youngman Jul 10, 2009, 14:23 GMT

As the Spook\'s apprentice Tom\'s first duty is to protect the County from the dark. But now Mam needs his help in her homeland of Greece. One of the most dangerous of the old gods, the Ordeen, is about to return there, bringing slaughter and devastation. Meanwhile, the Devil himself is still loose and if he and the Ordeen join forces, a new age of darkness will descend. Mam has ...more
The eagerly awaited sixth tale in the Wardstone Chronicles. Tom is asked by his Mam to provide help against the deadly Ordeen in her homeland of Greece. Tom's mentor the Spook is not in favour; after all it does involve an alliance with the notorious Pendle witches whom Tom and The Spook are forever fighting.
Can Tom cope with this? What lies in wait for him in Greece? Is he to be the sacrifice against the Dark? And just who is Tom's mother? What is the secret she has been holding from him all these years? Someone is to die - but who?
The Spook's Sacrifice is a gripping tale, best appreciated by those who are already familiar with the books about the Spook's Apprentice. The story positively pounds along, with almost non stop action.
You never have time to think, the next bit of the story is already happening. Well written, and a thunderingly good plot.

I am eagerly awaiting the sixth book to come out in Australia and can not wait for it to start selling. I really want what you said to be true and if it is I highly commend you for your honesty if not well that just is not fair.
