William Warner dies

The NYT notes that William Warner, the “Chesapeake Bay Author” has died at the age of 88.

His book Beautiful Swimmers won the Pulitzer Prize in 1977. The book dealt with crabs living in the Chesapeake Bay.

Some of his other books include At Peace With All Their Neighbors which he published in 1994 and Into the Porcupine Cave and Other Odysseys, published in 1999.

Yet his prize winning book has never gone out of print since its first publication in 1976, the NYT notes.
