Tyler Perry Set to Publish First Novel

The popular playwright and performer who created the box office smash, "Diary of A Mad Black Woman," will write his first novel. The publishers say Perry will share his uniquely wise, endearing, and ferociously funny observations, advice, and beliefs in the book through the voice of his beloved character Madea Simmons.
Sean McDonald, Senior Editor, Riverhead Books comments, "For anyone who's witnessed any of Tyler's performances, on stage or screen, it's obvious how dynamically talented he is as a writer and as a performer. He's funny, sharp, and irreverent, but also inspiring, and he manages to instantly craft fully human drama, dialogue, and characters-most especially Madea, who is truly one of the great dramatic creations of our time.
"So it's thrilling (and a little terrifying) to be involved in bringing her voice to the pages of "Don't Make A Black Woman Take Off Her Earrings," he added.
Perry says, "I hope that my book will continue the same spirit of my other works; to make people laugh and give them something to think about to help their lives. I am so delighted to be associated with Riverhead and Penguin Group. As usual, Madea is insisting on having the first word."

mr perry is truely amazing man who has brought us some one that we can all relate to as having mom,s and grandmother,s like madea i dont there is on one that has somewhat of a madea in there family my family reuions are some what like madeas my family go to my grandmother for advice on life so when look at madea i think of how amazing mr perry is he smile lights up the srceen and our hearts as well i cant wait for the book mr perry madea is funny but you are the best

Well like all others who enjoy your movies and plays man your are so talented!May the lord contiune to bless you and keep bringing joy and laughter into our lives really enjoy all that you produce keep them coming! It's clean funny entertainment and you do have a way of getting life across to people who are lonely or going thru some rough times all that you say and do is very true our parents raised us back in old school days but you got it down packed when you bring up somethings that they would of said or did they're gone now. I was watching my cable one day and I came across your movie. I must say it was wonderful. Having lots of money can be great, but good health is the most important thing that I think people take for granted. I also think having a loving, supportive, caring, and gracious spouse is the most precious gift of all. There are lots of people who take that gift for granted. I also read about your life and I felt really bad for you. I once heard this saying-blame them for nothing but forgive them for everything. That has helped me thru my own issues back in my childhood. Tyler Perry is a big inspiration to the young as well to older people.He has a very clean christian soul is also a kind,and a hilarious man of God and I am a young soul but I can still see as a young person that Tyler Perry is Inspiring me as well as many other people!

Mr.Perry you have no idea how much smiles you put on so much American's face after you did Diary of a Mad Black Woman and recently I saw Daddy's little Girl and it was such an inspiration to my life, I just want to keep on thanking God that he gave us roll models like yourself that we can look up to. Hi Tyler man I love your movies and your stage plays. There very funny. I
have something to ask you see. My wife has wrote this Romance novel and i
think it's a very good book. I'm not reader but this book go me hooked on
reading. What will she need to do to get it publised. She's on her second
book now. If a book can make a grown man cry it's a heart felt book. I tell
my wife just think positive and faith. I think these books can become a

Tyler Perry I am 16 year old black male who is trying to make in this society. Seven years ago my father,grandmother,and greatgrandmother died. Ever since then I have been writing books about my life and what I went through as a young child. In a year period I've written five books to talk to people about Jesus and the love he has for us. God have done so many things for my family and I. But through all the danger that the enemy has brought my way I'm still going to praise God any how. Right now I am attending the Early College program in Savannah, Georgia.I'm trying to provide for my family so that we can get from around all of these dangerous things that are going on. I'm not going to lie. At times I feel like giving up but I'm going to continue to lean on the work and promise of God. Tyler Perry I think that you are a great role model for the young children today. I truly believe that If I'm given the chance to get a publishing company to publish my books I will change lives with Gods help.

Tyler Perry is without a doubt a breath of fresh air in the entertainment business. He is the first actor who is so good at what he does, it's easy
to forget that Madea is really a man. Much success and please keep her alive
and vibrant. Lots of us know or have a Madea in our lives and the smiles she brings is priceless.
