Uncover the deadly truth with I-play’s Women’s Murder Club: Little Black Lies

By Patrick Luce Oct 1, 2010, 1:49 GMT

I-play (Oberon Media’s publishing division and the world’s leading multi-platform casual games publisher) has announced the PC download arrival of Women’s Murder Club: Little Black Lies - the fourth title in the popular hidden object adventure game series based on James Patterson’s best-selling novels.

With more twists and turns than ever before, players will have the option to play as the killer for the first time ever in a chilling epilogue. Having been downloaded more than 20 million times to date, the Women’s Murder Club games have been hailed by critics as “smart,” “inventive” and “refreshingly different.”

Famous for uncovering the truth, Regina Blacklock learns that sometimes the truth can be deadly.  When Blacklock is discovered in her car, authorities find a strange clue leading them straight to the Women’s Murder Club.

Through more than 29 beautifully illustrated scenes, players must collect evidence to piece together clues in eight shocking investigations. The game offers endless re-playability, providing hours of edge-of-your-seat crime solving as players discover what this present day homicide has to do with the 1975 murder of a local teenager.

In a press release, James Patterson stated: “As the millions of fans who have downloaded the first three games will attest, interactive games are a great way to tell a Women’s Murder Club story. Seeing the characters come to life in the beautiful environments I-play creates is an ongoing thrill for me.”

I-play has generated more than 50 million downloads since 2007 across its four book-based franchises. These games include Women’s Murder Club, Agatha Christie, Nora Roberts and the most recent Classic Adventures series that transformed The Great Gatsby into an interactive game experience.

Working closely with some of the most successful authors and classic literature names of all time, I-play creates top-notch games that are true to the original story, bring life to legendary works and create all-new adventures that are incredibly compelling.

Women’s Murder Club: Little Black Lies is now available on Iplay.com for $19.95 including an exclusive excerpt from James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club 10th Anniversary novel, releasing on shelves, spring 2011.
