The digital Tolkien

The AP announces that a new addition has been added to the list of digital books: Mr. Tolkien. Of some of the selections include “The Hobbit” and of course, his “Lord of the Rings” series. Also, the article notes that “The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrun” will be released next month. A point that the article mentions is that older works can create havoc when trying to negotiate electronic rights. It just involves more paperwork and time, and so a number of books that were available well before the digital age are sill waiting their turn to be scanned. Click here to see a photo of the author.
