New book on David Beckham

You knew it had to happen eventually, but there is a new book about the ultra athlete and celebrity David Beckham, titled: “The Beckham Experiment: How the World's Most Famous Athlete Tried to Conquer America.”

Written by Grant Wahl, the AP notes that the book: “draws upon interviews with Beckham, and teammates and officials at the L.A. Galaxy. The British soccer superstar signed a five-year contract reportedly worth $250 million in 2007.”Published by Crown, Amazon notes that the book is set for a July release. As for the author, he works for Sports Illustrated, as a writer. The book of course will follow his career as well as personal life, etc. More info will be posted as it becomes available.
