McCain’s daughter has six-figure book deal

Oh you can imagine how excited I am about this! Meghan McCain, the daughter of Presidential hopeful and failure John McCain “will write a book about her experience as a progressive Republican,” the AP states. Hyperion will publish it, and the book will appear by the spring. One has to wonder if anyone will buy? But this is not the first book for the little Meghan. Like all family members of celebrities, she previously authored a children’s book. So she’s obviously got skills. Some of the comments here illustrate what readers think:“I'd love to show Meghan McCain a good time, she's definitely a babe with some cushion for the pushin'. But all she really is is a self-indulgent blogger. And let's be real, she's living off mommy's money and daddy's spotlight... so what story does she have to tell that anybody would actually care about?”Or how about:“I'm a political person with political friends, and I can think of none that would buy a book by her, or even borrow it from the library. She is irrelevant.”I rest my case. Hyperion, you suck.
