“My Incredibly Wonderful, Miserable Life” is he title by Adam Nimoy, the son of Leonard, or more famously known, Mr. Spock.
USA Today notes:
“In it, Nimoy writes about a Hollywood life that ranged from growing up with a pop culture icon adored by millions to a three-decade battle with drug addiction. If you're into divorce, midlife crises, rabid Star Wars fans and eventual sobriety, Nimoy covers the bases.”
The reviewer also notes that the book: “sounds very much like dozens of other Hollywood memoirs written by woe-is-me children of the stars.”
The book description notes:
“In this frankly humble and hilarious anti-memoir, Adam Nimoy shares the incredibly wonderful, miserable truth about life as a newly divorced father, a forty-something on the L.A. dating scene, a recovering user, and a former lawyer turned director turned substitute teacher...in search of his true self. And, oh yeah, the wonderful, miserable truth about growing up the son of a pop culture icon.”
