The AP notes that First Lady Laura Bush, along with her daughter Jenna, spent some time reading from their own authored book at the National Book Festival.
“Read All About It!” is the title of their co-authored book, and according to the AP: “— about a boy who initially doesn't like to read books until strange visitors gain his attention — when they realized many of the children in their audience of about 300 were too far away to see the book's pictures. Some were even losing interest.”
The festival is organized by the Library of Congress and the article noted that more than 70 authors, illustrators, and poets.
Afterwards, the article notes that a long line of children gathered, waiting to have their books signed by the famous Bush women.
