Number 1 ranked Williams will pen memoir

The AP reports that Serena Williams will pen her memoir for release in 2009.
The article quotes her editor saying:
“We've watched her rise to No. 1 despite physical and emotional setbacks, and her hard work and determination have inspired legions of fans young and old. Serena will give her memoir a strong motivational slant."
Grand Central will publish it, the article states. The article also notes that the bidding “reached 1.3 million.”
