Readers should check out ‘I am Legend’

With all the hoopla surrounding the new Will Smith film, readers should be encouraged to seek out the Matheson novel on which the story is based.
USA Today has featured it, saying the book has shot to number 17 on USA Today’s bestseller list.

The book is also one which has spawned countless other zombie films—but I am Legend deals with deeper themes like loneliness and alienation.
