Oprah Winfrey’s latest book pick
By M&C News Nov 15, 2007, 13:13 GMT
I could have sworn she just picked a book. Oh well, here is another I suppose. The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett is a 973 page “love story set in England in the 12th century,” according to the AP.
The article states that this is the book the author is most “proud of.”
The AP article quotes Winfrey saying, "a best-selling author that everybody has heard of, but this novel is unlike any of his books he's known for around the world."
Already the book has shot to number 2 on Amazon. New American Library is the publisher of this edition.
