The AP reports that O.J. Simpson’s book If I Did It, has now gone into a second printing, due to Simpson’s recent fiasco with the law, giving the man media attention.
The article reports that the publisher, Beaufort Books, will print an additional 50,000 copies of the book. The article also states that there are already 200,000 copies in print.
The book was originally going to be published by an imprint of Harper Collins, but the book was pulled due to public outrage.
And now, with Simpson’s arrest and having been recently charged with 6 felonies, everyone is rushing to read it.
On the news they were speaking how there were good charges and evidence against Simpson, where he could spend multiple years in jail if accused, but then also noted that 12 years ago there was also good evidence, yet he walked away a free man.
