British mystery writer, Magdalen Nabb is dead

The AP reports that the British mystery writer, Magdalen Nabb, is dead at the age of 60. It is reported that the author died of a stroke. She was a prolific author, producing 13 books in a series that involves a police detective named Marshal Salvatore Guarnaccia. Her more recent book was published in 2005, called The Innocent. In addition to mystery writing, Nabb is also the author of children’s books. She is known for her Josie Smith series. Her works have been translated into multiple languages, according to her website.
