Read about the ‘Potter Pooper’ from a guy named Aristotle
By M&C News Aug 20, 2007, 10:41 GMT
There is a post on a website by Rick Aristotle Munarriz who observed all the leftover Harry Potter books at Barnes & Noble. Now some are wondering, after the fiasco and having sold 11.5 million copies in the first 10 days, who is going to buy them now, the article asks.
There is also the wonder of if the publisher will ever be forced to deal with reader returns.
“My initial reaction -- well, after reminding myself that I need to watch where I'm going -- is probably the same question that a lot of superstore customers have been asking themselves lately: Who's going to buy all of these books?” Rick Aristotle Munarriz wonders after having bumped into a large display of leftover Potter books.
The article also gives some thoughts on the Harry Potter trends. If you’d like to read Aristotle's thoughts about the ‘Potter Pooper’ click here.
