According to the Associated Press, the final installment of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has sold 11.5 million copies in the past 10 days.
The article reports that the original printing for the book was 12 million, but because of these numbers, has upped to 14 million.
Since the release of this book, people have taken interest in the previous Potter books, and have been purchasing the boxed set of Harry Potter books 1-7.
According to an interview with J.K. Rowling, when a fan asked her if there was anything she could change about the series, Rowling admitted that she wished she could have gone back and edited book 5, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because she felt it was too long.
