Publisher is stabbed to death outside home

Now would not be the time to make a joke about not liking the ending to Harry Potter. Sadly, Marina Pisareva, a woman who worked at a Russian publishing house, was stabbed to death outside her home, according to the Associated Press. She was 47.
This event happened on Monday, and the article states that nothing seems to have been stolen from her home. Investigators are in the process of trying to figure out if there is a link between her murder and her job as a publisher.
A spokesman for the company said, “This is a terrible tragedy, but Bertelsmann Media Moscow is a publisher of books on art and culture, it is not political at all.” The spokesman then went on to add how Pisareva was not in charge of which were books getting published.
Many are comparing this death to that of Anna Polikovskaya, a journalist who was also murdered, and had her journal published posthumously. For more information, visit the article.
