Remark made by J.K. Rowling might imply final Harry Potter book's ending
By M&C News Jul 15, 2007, 10:38 GMT
According to Scotsman.com, J.K. Rowling made an off the cuff remark regarding the completion of her final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, due in bookstores July 21.
The article quotes Ms. Rowling as saying, “Some people will loathe it, they will absolutely loathe it. For some people to love it, other people must loathe it. That's just in the nature of the plot."
Fans are of course, beginning to read into these lines as though there is some greater implication to them than a mere writer teasing her audience. Fans have been wondering the long question: will Harry Potter die in the end?
It is known that Rowling intends to kill off 2 main characters, albeit fans don’t know which 2 those will be.

My hats off to J K Rowling and her writing. Reading some of the comments made, sounds like others have sour grapes that they did not do it and she did and has made money. Good for her and she also helps others at the same time. I wonder how many would put her down if she did not make any money out of it?
My children and I have enjoyed the series including the latest movie. The only negative at all, is that it would have been good to put more of the actual book in the movie and we would have happily sat there for longer. I do understand that to put everything in we would be there for 4 hours, yet a bit more would have been lovely.
been a very entertaining series of books. It has also been a plus getting kids to read.
But it has not been such an accomplishment that should have caused her to become the richest woman in England(YES she is even worth more than the Queen, by a fairly large amount)
Rowlings has accomplished FAR more than the Queen, or any of her deviated progeny, and therefore DESERVES and has EARNED the right to become the richest woman in England!
Rowlings inherited nothing, and from nothing created the 'empire' her HP stories have brought her.
The Queen was born into, and will die surrounded by, trappings she had NOTHING to do with acquiring, retaining, or administering. Charles is a shining poster child for the dangers of in-breeding, and his sons show all the signs of the softness that comes of knowing nothing but excess and privelege.
We can only hope that Rowlings will show the same creativity and diligence in SPREADING her wealth as she demonstrated while writing her epic tale that created that wealth. I'm willing to bet that she does so.

Hopefully Rowlings will be creative in her final chapters in the book. However, the perfect ending would look something like this:
