Nikki Sixx, one of the band members of the 1980s rock band Motley Crue, will release his own personal memoir called, The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star on September 25. He will also be releasing a solo album with the same name, on August 21.
Sixx has been very candid about his heroin use, and now his fans will know even more about it in this new book. Sixx also says that his new album, which will have 12 tracks total, each match up with a chapter in the book that each will share the same title with that of each song.
Some of Motley Crue’s well-known songs include “Kick Start My Heart,” and “Dr. Feelgood.” This will not be the first book about the band. In 2002 the released The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band.
