Marvel Illustrated goes literary part 2

Many fans of Marvel have insisted on bringing back some of their most beloved novels back into comic book form. Marvel Illustrated, the House of Idea’s latest line featuring the legend Roy Thomas as well as other various artists will bring back to life such treasured gems as The Last Of The Mohicans, Treasure Island, Man In The Iron Mask, among others.

In this series, Marvel promises to retell the renowned tales though graphics, all the while staying true to these literary tales. Told in six full-length issues, this is a limited series of our most adored classics done Marvel style.

In June, we will see Marvel Illustrated: Treasure Island, featuring art by Marion Gully, as he retells the beloved classic of Robert Louis Stevenson’s high-adventure classic over the vast seas, as he hunts for the buried treasure.
