Senator Barack Obama's New York Times bestseller in English,

' The Audacity of Hope', will be coming out in a Spanish-language edition. ' La Audacia de la Esperanza' is scheduled for publication June 19, 2007. ' The Audacity of Hope', was published in October 2006 and has remained at or near the top of the New York Times Best Seller list since its publication. Spokesman Russell Perreault of Publisher Vintage Espanol said in a recent press release the book will have a first printing of 50,000. This will make it Vintage's biggest book in Spanish this year. Vintage Espanol is a paperback imprint of Random House Inc. committed to the U.S. Spanish book market. Obama's 1995 book, ' Dreams from My Father', is a memoir of his youth and early career. The book was reprinted in 2004 with a new preface and an annex containing the text of his 2004 Democratic Convention keynote speech. The audio book edition earned Obama the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album. The volume is not yet available in Spanish but such an edition is, according to Perreault, under consideration.
