Britain's Duchess of York to write a book
May 10, 2006, 16:13 GMT
Britain's Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, is to write a book inspired by important people in her life.
The memoir, which is set to be published in New York, will be based on people who have had major influence on the Duchess' life.
A source told dailysnack.com: 'Someone else will be doing the writing but Sarah will be doing the remembering. 'She is currently in talks with New York publishers about the book, which will contain characters based on people who have featured strongly in her life.' Last year the Duchess was reportedly planning to release a tell-all biography. The project - which Ferguson was tipped to be paid £1million for - has since been shelved. The mother-of-two is a keen writer and has earned a name as a children's books author in Britain. She has also penned a memoir - entitled 'My Story' in which she famously revealed that she caught verrucas from wearing Princess Diana's shoes. The red-haired royal would have plenty of material for her new book following a difficult few years after her divorce from Britain's Prince Andrew in 1996. However, the royal has recovered from the highly publicized divorce and recently landed a TV job. Ferguson has been offered her own slimming show in which she will help overweight families shift the excess bulk on Britain's Channel 4.Copyright 2006 BANG Media International
