Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood is writing his autobiography.In one of the biggest publishing deals in music history, Wood has signed a contract to spill beans on his 30 years with the group.The rocker accepted an advance, thought to be in seven figures, from Macmillan.Eddie Bell, his literary agent said: "Ronnie remembers everything, particularly the people he has met, and has some fantastic stories."David North, the managing director of Pan Macmillan, says he expects the book, which the guitarist hopes to complete when the Stones finish their world tour, to be "the greatest rock and roll memoir ever written."Ronnie's bandmate Mick Jagger once returned a £1 million advance he was given to write his autobiography - because he couldn't remember enough about his life.The Rolling Stone frontman was given the huge advance by publishers Weidenfeld & Nicolson, but the project had to be canned because his memory wasn't up to it.Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
