Jackson jurors line up books
Aug 4, 2005, 10:59 GMT
Two jurors in Michael Jackson's child molestation case have revealed they thought the star was guilty - and are now planning to write tell-all books.
Eleanor Cook, 79, and Ray Hultman, 62, are both penning accounts of the jury's deliberation process during the trial, in which the eccentric singer was acquitted of all charges, and both are promising to reveal their personal doubts about his innocence.
Cook's effort, tentatively titled 'Guilty As Sin, Free As A Bird', will be co-written by Larry Garrison - president of Silver Creek Entertainment who are publishing the text - and her granddaughter, with the elderly juror giving them details of the trial.
Hultman's book will be called 'The Deliberator' and is to be co-written with former Jackson family friend and author Stacy Brown - who also co-wrote 'The Man Behind The Mask' with Jackson's former publicist Bob Jones. Garrison claims the two books will leave no stone unturned and will expose details from the trial previously unknown.
He said: "These books are going to rock the US. Elly and Ray are two of the three jurors who initially voted for 'guilty'."
Meanwhile, Jackson made his first public appearance since his acquittal in June.
The 46-year-old star enjoyed a day out shopping in Bahrain - where he is alleged to have recently bought a luxury property - and according to onlookers seemed relaxed and well.
