mmmm. My first Doherty and my first Corbett. Not bad. The characters seem a bit sketchy. Rather a down on women, and I have a few doubts about historical accuracy, for example did the duchies of Brabant and Hainaut have any coastal ports at all?
I'll give him another try but so far not entirely convinced.
