Book Review: Everyday Cat Excuses
By Sandy Amazeen

Enter the delightfully demented world of cat lover and cartoonist Molly Brandenburg as she explores the many reasons cats can’t be bothered to pay attention to their owners. Anyone who has ever been owned by a cat is well aware they are always on the wrong side of a door, a fact Brandenburg illustrates in a hilarious detail. From dragging home dead mice to yakking up furballs; operating under the influence of catnip to shedding, cat excuses were never so funny. The simplistic drawing style coupled with so many kitty “truisms” make this a gem to be enjoyed in the privacy of your own home because you’ll be laughing too much to be out in public with it.
