The ubiquitous Tim Sale, whose work pioneered the look and feel of the NBC hit “Heroes,” will be highly visible at this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (July 26-29).
Hoping to meet and interact with as many fans as possible, Tim will be appearing at various exhibitor booths; a guest on a “Heroes” panel; doing signings and sketches; and selling a brand new sketchbook (Blues), a print (Jungle Girl), and a t-shirt.

Here’s a quick run-down on where you can find him:

In addition, Tim will have on sale at the Active Images booth (#2106) his sketchbook, Tim Sale Pin-ups ($20.00, 40 pages, 7”x11”, black and white, Diamond Code: NOV063205). It features a selection of quality ink and wash drawings and pencil sketches with notes by Tim and a color cover by Tim and Catwoman colorist Dave Stewart.
And the sold out Tim Sale: Black and White, while not available at Comic-Con, is coming for a second round in December from Image Comics. Tim Sale: Black and White, Revised and Expanded (December 2007, $39.99, 272-page hardcover, 9” x 12”) discusses Tim’s life and work in a comprehensive and lavishly illustrated retrospective. This is a new, revised and expanded edition of the original out-of-print Tim Sale: Black and White previously published by Active Images.
