By Patrick Luce Jul 5, 2006, 14:54 GMT

This September, Devil’s Due Publishing, Inc. delves into the missions of G.I. Joe reserves G.I.Joe: America’s Elite roster in G.I. Joe Special Missions: Tokyo, (JUL063083), a 48 Page one shot featuring art of fan favorite Tim Seeley (G.I.Joe and Forgotten Realms) and stories by Robert Rodi (Loki, Elektra) and Mike O’Sullivan (G.I. Joe Special Missions: Manhattan, Hunt for Cobra Commander, and Data Desk).
“G.I. Joe will always have a special place with me,” says Tim Seeley. “I hope everyone is as excited to have me back on a G.I. Joe title as I am to be drawing tons of the coolest G.I. Joe’s characters.”
When Budo disappears, Jinx steps in to investigate! And when she gets entangled with a dangerous underground militia in Japan, getting in way over her head - she calls for help… Who responds? Gung-Ho, Wild Bill, Clutch, and Rock ‘N Roll! Containing Data Desk Handbook profiles on each of the cast. Plus, a second all-new, original story!
“With the wild popularity of our first G.I. Joe Special Missions: Manhattan the fans demanded another mission and we’re happy to oblige.” said Mike O’Sullivan. “Making great G.I. Joe stories is what we love to do. Everyone has their favorite G.I. Joe characters, and wonders what they’re up to. New Special Missions stories allow us to write about characters who aren’t currently in the main title’s line-up.”
The comic is set to hit stands in September with a retail price of $4.95. Visit Devil’s Due for a five page preview of the comic and for information on this and other available titles.
