Silent Devil Productions and creator Dwight L. MacPherson have announced that Jim Reaper will be joining the publisher's summer 2006 line-up.
"Fearing an imminent breakdown, the Grim Reaper decides to take a Holiday. After an exhaustive search for a replacement, he finds only his cousin's nephew's son to collect the souls of those who are perishing, MacPherson describes the character. He is Jim Reaper. The only problem is that this bright-eyed Reaper is scared of his own shadow!"
Silent Devil is known for the cult favorite title Dracula vs. King Arthur, Runes of Ragnan (now at Image's Shadowline imprint), and Bubba the Redneck Werewolf, which has been optioned for feature film treatment.

The first 32-page full color one-shot "Jim Reaper: Week One" will bereleased in July.
