Musician Bobby Brown told a concert crowd in Texas that his ailing daughter Bobbi Kristina is in fact awake. TMZ got the video where Brown shocked everyone at a concert Saturday night, when he told the crowd, “Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive Jan. 31 in her Roswell, Ga., home and she was placed in a medically induced coma.
Her mother, Whitney Houston, died under similar circumstances when she was discovered dead at The Beverly Hilton Hotel the night of the Grammys from a drug overdose in 2012.
Last month, Bobbie Kristina, 22, was reported to be in the same condition as she was moved from Emory University Hospital to a nearby long-term care facility.
“We’ve moved her to a place for rehabilitation,” Bobbi Kristina’s 81-year-old grandmother, Cissy Houston, told New York radio station WBLS 107.5 FM on March 25 about the undisclosed facility. “And you know, still not a great deal of hope. (We’re) still praying.”
It’s unclear what Brown is really saying. On the one had, if you take the first comment at face value it seems he’s saying Bobbi Krisina is out of the coma she’s been in since January 31st.
Yet Bobby says, “She’s watching me,” the comment made on stage at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, Texas.
