An undated handout picture shows the glacier snout of the Mertz galcier in Antarctica. An iceberg crashed into the snout two weeks ago, breaking loose a new iceberg of the size of Luxembourg. A collision like that only happens every 50 to 100 years, as a glacier expert announced on Australian radio on 26 February 2010. The 90km long and 30km wide iceberg drifts north.
