This is the first of our regular feature helping you choose films at LFF everyday if you find yourselves lost. Everyday we'll list 5 films you should try to catch at the Festival the next day.
)Blessed Events: A sublimely droll German drama dealing with the after-effects of an unwanted pregnancy from a one-stand. Never taking the obvious route, the film is mesmerising in its' refusal to over-dramatize any event within its' protagonists' lives. 15.45 NFT 1
)Revoluccion: Ten directors take on the legacy of the Mexican Revolution that shaped the country one hundred years on. With a wildly varied number of styles, this film presents a captivating look at a country that is as much in transformation as it was during the Revolution. 18.15 Vue Screen 6
)Let Me In: Matt Reeve's take on the Swedish gem 'Let The Right One In' might not be a complete success but it is certainly a worthwhile effort and worth seeing if only for the technically amazing car-crash scene which is sure to get film fans talking upon the films release. 20.30 Vue Screen 7
)Chongquing Blues: An emotionally complex and deeply interesting drama focusing on a father's search for the truth behind his son's death during a police siege. Whilst unravelling the web of lies and deceit, Wang Xiaoshuai's film unexpectedly metamorphoses into a commentary on the current climate in China. 20.45 Vue Screen 6
)Silent Souls: A Russian low-key character study, Aleksei Fedorchenko's film is an unexpected delight - a road movie about the loss and acceptance of love. 21.00 Vue Screen 3
